We’re excited to share a behind-the-scenes look at one of our recent ventures that opened our events calendar for 2024: The Infosys APAC Confluence as part of the Australian Open season, which kicked off the year with a bang! Let’s dive into the details of this international event and how our team ensured its success.

The Infosys APAC Confluence was a high-profile event that brought together professionals from the Asia-Pacific region to discuss industry trends, share insights, and foster collaboration in the innovation and software technology sectors.

One of the unique aspects of the Infosys APAC Confluence was the involvement of our international clients, who entrusted us with the ground execution of the event here locally in Melbourne, Australia. Collaborating with clients from different cultural backgrounds always presents opportunities for learning and growth, which the MCO Events team prides itself on being able to deliver with cultural understanding and consideration.

From initial planning meetings to bringing on our local team of contractors, our core staff worked closely with BrandAid Events from India to ensure their vision for the event was brought to life. Clear communication, mutual respect, and a shared commitment to excellence were the cornerstones of bringing this event to its immaculate success.

Despite the time differences, we found time to cater for everyone involved and bring together the event over the AO finals weekend. MCO Events handled all operational logistics and provided on-ground support. This included venue selection, transportation arrangements, catering services, audiovisual setup, and more.

Over the weekend, the team took care of registrations, problem-solving, talent and backstage requirements, walking guests to and from the tennis finals (to ensure everyone got there on time!), and all other on-the-day decisions needed to help the event run successfully. We even got to rub shoulders with tennis legends like Nick Kyrigios!
